1. Cushnoc Trading Post Marker
Inscription. In commemoration of the first trading voyage of the Pilgrims of Plymouth to the ancient Indian village at Cushnoc on the Kennebec River, 1625, and on this site the establishment of their fur trading post with the Indians, 1628, Jown Howland in command, 1634.
 
Erected 1939 by the Maine Society, Daughters of Colonial Wars.
