Fundo y dirigio el emerito Colegio “La Enseñanza” primaria y normal y las escuelas gratuitas para obreros, campesinos y mujeres trabajadoras, cuando no existian instituciones oficiales de esos niveles, fue sincera indigenista y entrego su vida al servicio de la educación.

(November 11, 1895 – January 23, 1963)
Supporter of Education
She founded and directed the highly regarded "La Enseñanza" School, which included both elementary education and teachers’ training. She also started and taught at free schools for workers and women, at a time when no other institutions for those populations existed. She was genuinely interested in indigenous people and gave her life to the service of education.
