El 26 de enero de 1973 zarpó desde Port Luis en la isla de Guadalupe comandado por Francisco Caamaño (41 años), y tripulado por: Heberto Lalane José de (27 años), Mario Nelson Galán Durán (25 años), Alfredo Pérez Vargas (26 años), Ramón Euclides Holguin Marte de (26), Juan Ramón Payero Ulloa (24 años), Carlos Toribio Peña Jaques (36 años), Hamlet Hermann Pérez (38 años) y Claudio Caamaño Grullón (34 años).
Llegaron a la Bahía de Ocoa, Azua el 2 de febrero de 1973 y pisaron tierra de la Patria en la noche. El propósito de Caamaño y los patriotas bajo su mando era enfrentar la situación de servilismo y dependencia en que estaba la República Dominicana después de la invasión del gobierno norteamericano en 1965.

On January 26, 1973 it sailed from Port-Louis on the island of Guadalupe commanded by Francisco Caamaño (41 years old), and manned by: Heberto Lalane José (27), Mario Nelson Galán Durán (25), Alfredo Pérez Vargas (26), Ramón Euclides Holguin Mars (26), Juan Ramón Payero Ulloa (24), Carlos Toribio Peña Jaques (36), Hamlet Hermann Pérez (38) and Claudio Caamaño Grullón (34).
They arrived at the Bay of Ocoa, Azua on February 2, 1973 and set out on foot into the Fatherland at night. The purpose of Caamaño and the patriots under his command was to face the situation of servility and dependence that the Dominican Republic faced after the invasion of the US government in 1965.
April 24, 2010, in the Dominican Navy, under the command of Admiral Homero Lajara Solá, the Black Jack was restored and delivered to the Caamaño
