1. Rock Run Mill Marker

Inscription. Owned by John Steel, this grist mill was in successful operation as early as 1731. At the same period a ferry was operated about one-half mile downstream at a crossing known as Upper Ferry.

Erected 1966 by Maryland Historical Society.
