1. Replica Blockhouse Marker
Inscription. This replica blockhouse was constructed 1975-76, as a Bicentennial project, with donations from local businesses It is built to resemble the original blockhouse, described as being about 12 feet by 18 feet in dimension, two stories in height with the upper overhanging the lower, with loopholes and no chimney. The original stockade fort was situated 400 feet south of here, on the bank of the Clyde River
