1. The Caste War Marker
En el año 1847 dio inicio la más cruel y sanguinaria lucha que se ha suscitado en nuestro territorio, conocida como Guerra de Castas, éste fue un movimiento social (rebelión) de los nativos mayas que inicio en el sur y oriente dé Yucatán el 30 de julio de 1847 en contra de los blancos, criollos y, mestizos, que querían "dominar" todas las regiones del país, durante el desarrollo de la guerra hubo una cruenta matanza de personas (no exclusivamente blancos, criollos y mestizos) de todo aquel que se "opusiera" a la causa de la mayoría de los mayas.
Oficialmente concluyó en el año de 1901 cuando el eiército federal mexicano tomó la capital maya de Chan Santa Cruz (hoy Felipe Carrillo Puerto).
