6th Battery, Ohio Light Artillery
4 10 Pounder Parrotts, 2 Napoleons.
Harker's Brigade, Wood's Division, Crittenden's Corps.
September 20, 1863.

Captain Cullen Bradley, Commanding.
1st Lieutenant Oliver H.P. Ayres.
1st Lieutenant James P. McElroy.
Soon after daylight the battery occupied a position in reserve on the ridge west of what is now known as Lytle Station. About 8 o'clock Wood's Division moved to the frontline relieving Negley's Division.

The Battery followed Harker's Brigade and two sections took position on this line about 10 o'clock, firing 32 rounds with good effect. Soon after 11 o'clock, while the Brigade was moving by the left flank, the Battery opposite its center, the Confederates broke through the line, driving back guns, caissons and fragments of regiments in great disorder. The Battery being entirely cut off from the Brigade moved to the ridge west of the Dyer field, took position

I used the "Chickamauga Battlefield" map, that I purchased at the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, Visitor Center, to determine both the marker number for this tablet and the tablet's location in relation to the rest of the park's monuments, markers, and tablets.
