held by the BROCKVILLE ROWING CLUB
Near the turn of the century, some of the most popular sporting and social events of the summer season in Brockville were the regatta races held by the BROCKVILLE ROWING CLUB. Rowing clubs from other communities were invited to send teams to complete with the local rowers. Large crowds turned out for the day's events and can be seen here lining the shore and viewing from their personal rowing skiffs.
