This memorial stone is erected to the memory of the officers and volunteers of the Third Brigade of Kerry, warriors all, who died for the sake of the Republic of Ireland.

Remember them here also all those men of the Third Brigade of Kerry who fought for the Republic and are not named here, they sacrificed themselves but have gone on to glory.
