Inscription.
The Pioneer Trail was developed in 1932 to give access to the Pioneer Monument and commemorative plaque at the end of the trail.

Improvements to the trail were completed in May 2019 as a joint project of the Yavapai Questers and Cole Ortagus' Eagle Scout Project, Troop 1, Boy Scouts of America, Prescott, AZ.

Trail was improved in 12/00, David Glenn's Eagle Scout Project, Troop 9, Boy Scouts of America, Prescott, AZ.

Trail was improved 10/89.
