Location. Marker has been reported permanently removed. It was located near 39° 12.012′ N, 78° 7.764′ W. Marker was near Winchester, Virginia, in Frederick County. Marker could be reached from Redbud Road (Virginia Route 661) 0.9 miles south of Martinsburg Pike (U.S. 11), on the right when traveling south. This small marker is reached from the Third Winchester Battlefield trail system starting at a parking area on Redbud Road. It is located along the Battle Trail in a strip of woods near the Hackwood House Wayside. Touch for map. Marker was in this post office area: Winchester VA 22603, United States of America.
