"Pull Me" Boat
— Wabash & Erie Canal Park Village —
Marie Harris, Ellen Hostetler and Nancy Farrier, in memory of their parents John David and Ruth Marie Hilderandt Rhine
John and Ruth were both lifetime residents of Carroll County. They loved this part of Indiana and its history. In 1961 they purchased a farm from John's parents at the edge of Delphi where they lived the rest of their lives.
Carroll County Wabash & Erie Canal Inc. wishes to convey its appreciation for the support and vision of the Rhine Family. The Pull Me Boat exhibit creates an
exciting hands on experience for children and adults. The exhibit adds a unique
educational site to Canal Park and our trail system. Then gift adds immeasurably
to our mission of education and recreation.
