US 66 snakes its way through 2448 miles of the American Midwest and southwest along its journey it crosses many territories of varying scenic terrains. Including in these territories are the lands of many Native American nations. Through these lands Rote 66 served as a regional link for trade and transportation. Route 66 crosses the following Indian Nations: Santo Domingo Pueblo, San Felipe Pueblo, Isleta Laguna, Alcoma of New Mexico, Navajo and Hualapai of Arizona.
