Inscription. Near site of winter camp of Daniel and Squire Boone, Alexander Neeley, and John Stuart, 1769-70. Creek named by these pioneers after "Lorbrulgrud" of Gulliver's Travels, first known book brought to Kentucky. Corrupted to Lulbegrud.
