Inscription. Originally built as an office for Dr. T. B. Anderton, this building was the first site of Farmer's Bank and Trust Co. in 1906 and Farmer's National Bank in 1907. From 1934 to 2009, jewelers occupied this site, including Norton's, Jennings, and United Diamond Brokers. Through the 1950s, optometrists ran optical departments in the jewelry shops.
