Inscription. In 1905, Miller and Burkhalter butcher shop occupied the left end of this building, followed by the grocery stores of S. E. Carter and Grant & Grant. Ma Ward operated a popular cafè here in the 1950s. Since then, this location has been used for various businesses and lawyers' offices.
