1. Howard Pinkley Marker
Inscription. Founding father of the NorthWest Ohio River Runners, a Canoe & Kayaking Club. He saw a need for accessing the Ottawa River, then lead the way for this launch site to become possible. Howard was also a seasoned sailor in his own right and a dedicated community minded leader of the Point Place/Shoreland area. Howard loved the water.
