Maned Wolf
The maned wolf has a unique method of hunting prey. When it hears a small animal moving in the grass, it taps its foot on the ground, startling its prey into running. The wolf then pounces on the exposed animal to catch its meal.
Przewalski's Horse
The Przewalski's horse (pronounced sheh-VAL-skeez) is the only remaining wild horse species in the world. Once declared extinct in the wild, today nearly 400 horses have been reintroduced to Asia, thanks to zoo breeding programs.
