Inscription. Used by Indian and French hunters, explorers and war parties, from the St. Lawrence and the Great Lakes to the Ohio and the Mississippi, before the surrender of Quebec and French sovereignty in Canada Junquindunda, the Indian neutral or free city, at the lower falls of the Sandusky, the two mile square reservation deeded by the Indians in 1786, now Fremont.
