Step into the past -- imagine walking along Water Street, with the green, grassy ferry landing just barely visible. Old grassy ferry landing just barely visible. Old schooners, canoes, shad barges, and vessels are crossing the Nanticoke River to the first original ferry site. Parishioners, wearing their finery, are busily coming and going to and from church on Sunday. Taking place along Market Street, the gateway to the Elliott Island community, is busy mercantile trading. The fine, old Model T's are putting along Race Street. Such a pleasant, momentary hiatus from today's fast pace to take an imaginary break, viewing Vienna of the past while walking the same steps that others have taken long before you.
