1. Gaskill Park Marker
Inscription. Gaskill Park was named for Burton Gaskill, a prominent Atlantic County leader, born in Mays Landing in 1889. It was built on land reclaimed by a W.P.A. project in 1937. Historically, it was the site of George Wheaton's shipyard. The West Jersey and Seashore Railroad passed through it on the way to Atlantic City.
