A beloved physician, he devoted his life to the healing of the sick and to the progress of the profession he loved. Son of Dr. Traill Green, their combined careers aggregated a century of continuous medical service to the community. A leader in the profession, he was prominent in the civic, scientific, and cultural affairs of his city, county and state.
