The Campaign to Save Pigeon Point Lighthouse
A Landmark Worth Saving
For nearly a century and a half, Pigeon Point Lighthouse has stood as a symbol of California's spirit and a reminder of its past - a focal point for community amidst a stunning coastal landscape. but this icon is in peril, threatened by exposure to the elements and structural decay.
A comprehensive rehabilitation is needed to reopen this important landmark and provide rich educational opportunities to hundreds of thousands of tourists, school children, and hostel guests who visit Pigeon Point Light Station each year.
