M-60 A3 Tank
The M-60 Battle Tank entered service in 1960. it weighs 55 tons and carries a crew of four. It is armed with a 105 mm main gun, capable of fording 48" of water, and reaching a speed of 30 m.p.h. Chrysler (later General Dynamics) produced 10,326 M-60 series tanks between the years of 1959 and 1978 at the Detroit Army Tank Plant.
The Auglaize Township Historical Society acquired the M-60 A3 Tank serial no. 2451A on March 14, 1996.
