Van baixar a peu i pel camí s'hi van afegir altres treballadors.

3. Marker inset: Cover of Cambió - Semana Tragica or "Tragic Week"
The choice of "Tragic Week" for the cover would have resonance in Catalonia as the phrase would be widely understood there to describe the events of the last week of July, 1909, where there were numerous violent clashes between the Spanish army and various groups that were protesting the calling up of reserves to fight in the Second Rif War.

March 3, 1976

On March 3, in Vitoria, police fired on workers holding an assembly at the church of San Francisco de Asis. Five workers died as a result of the "law enforcement" shootings: Pedro María Martínez Ocio, 27, Francisco Aznar Clemente, 17, Romualdo Barroso Chaparro, 19, José Castillo, 32, and two months later, Bienvenido Pereda, 30.

On the 5th, protests were called for these tragic events in Tarragona. The workers of the Refinery held an assembly and decided to demonstrate in Tarragona. They went down on foot and along the way other workers joined along. Despite the police presence at the entrance to the city (riot police from different places had been called in to Tarragona) groups of workers managed to pass and demonstrate on the Rambla. The extremely violent police action provoked clashes. In this context, Juan Gabriel Rodrigo Knafo fell from the roof of a building, number 7 on Union Street (at that time called Hermanos Landa) while fleeing from the police. Despite reports circulating by the authorities, the family claims that the young man went up to the roof followed by two policemen: "Three

people went up the stairs of the building and only two went down, the third went down through the void". Police shots ?, a rubber bullet? The fact that many people claimed that there were shootings that day, that relatives could not see the body until days after the autopsy, the "disappearance" of witnesses, and the difficulties they encountered in taking the case to court it give rise to different hypotheses that would make one cringe.

The family has not forgotten that the case is not closed. It is not yet known how Juan Gabriel died. For this reason, we want to clarify the circumstances and repair his personal and family memory.
