Inscription. The Fairfax County Park Authority preserves cultural resources across the county, including many significant Civil War sites. Visit sites where forces clashed, like Ox Hill Battlefield Park, or sites where the Union and Confederate soldiers lived, such as the encampments and covered way at Historic Centreville Park.
