1. Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima & Nagasaki Marker
Inscription. On August 6, 1945 Enola Gay - B-29 dropped first atomic bomb on Hiroshima Japan. On August 9, 1945 “Bock’s Car” - B-29 delivered the 2nd bomb on Nagasaki Japan. Japan surrendered September 2, 1945 ending WWII thus beginning the nuclear age.
