She was the second European to receive a doctorate in Anthropology and taught at many of the world's universities.

A researcher of customs, author of books and hundreds of photographs of the Siberian people.

Erected 2022 by Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, D.C.; Nauka; "Science. I Like It" Foundation.
