Habitats for Wildlife
The refuge protects Tinicum marsh, the largest remaining freshwater tidal marsh in Pennsylvania. The marsh is a vital feeding and resting place for birds along the Atlantic Flyway. The refuge also provides habitat for a wide range of other animals, from butterflies to foxes.
