Harris Creek
The Harris Creek was once an above ground stream large enough to sail a ship in. It was filled in to make more land for development in the early 1800s. It is now completely piped underground, but it continues to run through seventeen neighborhoods of East Baltimore. All the rain that falls in these neighborhoods flows through storm drains and directly into the Harbor, here, at the Canton outfall.
