1. Nissley/Kobel Historic Cemetery Marker
Inscription. HN for Hans/John Nissley (birth date unknown,died 1789), son of 1717 immigrant Hans Nissley. In 1743 John and wife Mary (daughter of 1727 immigrants Michael and Anna Siegrist of Silver Spring PA), settled by Conoy Creek and in 1750 they built the lovely home at 561 West Bainbridge Road, Elizabethtown PA. Eventually their six sons each received a farm from their 827 acre tract.

Burial site of Michael Kobel (1763-1823); Prominent citizen, innkeeper, and early postmaster of Elizabethtown PA.
Ober burial - At least one is known at this site.
