2910 E. Broad Street. c. 1875. This classic brick three-bay townhouse was built c.1875. The striking full-width front porch features a delicate iron railing and brackets with slender posts. The tall first-floor windows are noteworthy as are the segmental arches above the windows. The Victorian bracketed cornice includes pierced panels. William Hawkins, a carriagemaker, purchased the property in 1875. William and his wife, Mary, resided here contributing structure to the St. John's Church Historic District on the Virginia Landmarks Register and the National Register of Historic Places.
