1. Frankie Muse Freeman Marker
Inscription. Frankie Muse Freeman was born in Danville, VA and graduated from Hampton University and Howard University Law School. She was the 1st General Counsel of the St. Louis Housing Authority. In 1964 President Lyndon Johnson nominated her as the 1st woman on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.
