Inscription.
On May 11, 1912 Sister Mary Bernardine McMullen and Sister Mary Anthony McMullen established a foundation of the Sisters of Mercy in the Diocese of Toledo at the invitation of Bishop Joseph Schrembs.

This property including the Sisters Cemetery was purchased by the Sisters of Mercy in 1925 and named Our Lady of the Pines.

Sisters of mercy "Let nothing delight me but the hope of coming to the possession of you my God and my all in your everlasting kingdom."
