Inscription.

Professor Harrington served as Chair of the Department of Nursing for twelve years. Dr. Harrington's collaborative and visionary style allowed her to serve effectively on numerous college committees and as Academic Senate President. Dr. Harrington was also instrumental in developing graduate programs in nursing. A recipient of the Nightingale Award of Pennsylvania for Nursing Education, awards from the Eta Eta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Pennsylvania Nurses' Association, her extraordinary dedication and service have inspired generations of nurses.
