Inscription. The Loch Ness Monster opened in Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 1978 as the World's tallest coaster, standing at a height of 130ft. With a layout as a twisting as the beast that lends it its name, the Loch Ness Monster features the world's first and only remaining interlocking loops. The Loch Ness Monster recently celebrated its 30th birthday in 2008, after having tested the bravery of millions of park guests through the years. Join the expedition for this elusive creature up the hill in Scotland.
