Gratwick Riverside Park is a 53 acre city owned park located prominently along the mighty Niagara River. This multi-use park features an ADA accessible fishing pier, boat launch, soccer/lacrosse fields, nature preserve, pavilions, restroom amenities and the Riverwalk Trail. The trail is a 3-mile multi-use bike and pedestrian trail running the length of River Road, connecting south to the Empire State Trail into Tonawanda, and the Erie Canal Bike Path in North Tonawanda, while heading north, the path provides a connection to Wheatfield and Niagara Falls.

Gratwick Park ends at the southernmost point with a municipal marina consisting of 68 boat slips, 17 transient docking spaces, and 44 jet ski docks which are available for seasonal rent.

The Gratwick Park Improvement Project strives to meet and advance the vision, goals and objectives outlined in the Niagara River Greenway Plan including excellence, accessibility, public well-being and celebration. By adding pavilion #2 and an ADA accessible restroom trailer, the City of North Tonawanda is able to continue to unleash the potential of this amazing waterfront park by providing dynamic meeting areas and shared spaces that are more accommodating to visitors of the park. These upgrades are part of the continued. restoration of this Brownfield Site which completed it's remediation

Gratwick Park was instituted as a public park in 1965 and has since gone through a considerable amount of remediation including the installation of a barrier wall, shoreline stabilization, soil cap, and the pumping and treatment of ground water.

The nature preserve area with walking paths is crucial to the wildlife habitat enhancement part of the parks master-plan, particularly for supporting bird populations. The Niagara River corridor is vital to the success of bird populations as it is designated as an important Bird Area critical to the function of avian migration. The preserve area of this park supports this with untouched green-space providing safe nesting areas for a variety of bird species.
