1. Mary B. Sloss Marker
Inscription.  Mary B. Sloss lived across the street from the cemetery and was its sexton for thirty-five years. She was active in civic and political affairs for most of her life. Her son, Jessie W. Sloss, was city secretary for twenty-nine years, city manager for two and city commissioner for four years. City offices closed at 2:30 p.m. on the day of Mary's funeral so that city employees could pay their respects.

Mary B. Sloss fue Sacristán del Cementerio y vivió en la calle frente al cementerio por treinta y cinco años. Durante su vida estuvo involuncrada en asuntos cívicos y políticos. Su hijo Jessi Sloss fue Secretario de la Ciudad por ventinuevew años y Administrador y Comisionado de la Ciudad dos y cuatro años concurrentemente. El día del funeral de Mary las oficinas de la ciudad cerraron a las 2:30 PM como señal de respeto.
