1. Annie S. Putegant Marker
Inscription.  Annie S. Putegant was one of eight teachers at Washington Park School when it opened in 1889. The school was torn down and rebuilt in 1940, then renamed in her honor in 1947. She was briefly a principal and assistant principal but returned to the classroom until her final days at the age of 80, having served the school district for 61 years. Schools and city offices were temporarily closed on the day of her funeral.

Annie S. Putegnat fue una de los ocho maestros en Washington Park School cuando se inaugurσ en 1889. La escuela fue derrumbada y luego reconstruida en 1947 y nombrada en su honor. Fue entonces Directora y Asistente de la Direccion brevemente, pero volviσ a las aulas escolares hasta la edad de 80 aρos. Estuvo con el Distrito Escolar sesenta y un aρos. Las escuelas y oficinas de la ciudad se cerraron temporalmente como seρal de respeto durante su funeral.
