Líder sufragista y política. Primera presidenta del Club Cívico de Damas. Pimera mujer en ser electa al cargo de Senadora de Puerto Rico en 1936.

Politician and leader of the women's suffrage movement. She was the first president of the Women's Civic Club and the first woman elected to the Senate of Puerto Rico in 1936.
