Funding for the renovation of the Conservatory was provided by Mr. & Mrs. Tom S. Ziems in recognition of five generations of the Ziems family who have lived in this community.
Theodore J. Ziems, Mr. Ziems great grandfather, immigrated here from Germany and was the first Horticulturist at the Zoo.
