Inscription.  
Una strada costeggiava il versante del Palatino rivolto al Velabro e saliva fino al santuario di Victoria: pertanto è stato identificato con il clivus Victoriae nominato dagli autori antichi. Se ne conserva parte del basolato, risalente al II-I secolo a.C., quando, tramite arcate sostruttive, la strada fu trasformata in una via coperta. Sulla terrazza al di sopra di essa si estese l'adiacente santuario, con i templi di Victoria e Magna Mater. All'angolo della strada si trovava una fontana pubblica costruita in blocchi di tufo nel III secolo a.C., tra le più antiche note a Roma.

English:
A road ran along the slope of the Palatine facing the Velabrum, ascending to the sanctuary of Victoria: it has thus been identified with the clivus Victoriae mentioned by ancient authors. Part of the paved surface survives, dating to the 2nd-1st century BC when the road was turned into a covered way by the substruction arches. On the terrace above the road lay the adjacent sanctuary with the temples of Victoria and Magna Mater. At the corner of the road was a public fountain of
