Satoko Yamamoto was born in Nikko, Japan. Married Al Mitchell in 1952 & went by the name "Sue". Came to USA knowing only her husband. They raised five children. As a child taught herself to sew when she lived in Japan. She opened Sue's Alteration Shop in Old Town Florissant & was there for over 20 years. She had strong ties with the Florissant community & was known for her kindness that built lifelong friends.
