1. Zonta of Defiance Marker
Inscription. Founded in 1919, Zonta International is a global service organization of executives in business and the professions working together, across political and social boundaries, to advance the status of women worldwide. The Defiance chapter was founded in 1960. Zonta members volunteer their time, talents and money to local and international service programs, including those working to eradicate violence against women as well as scholarship and award programs aimed at furthering women's education, leadership and youth development. The Zonta club of Defiance is a strong supporter of the community and its needs.

Enjoy the healing and stress reducing powers of flowing water. At the end of a hard day, we hope that you will come enjoy the serenity that this garden provides. There is something soothing about the sound of running water that can truly help reduce daily pressures and stresses of life.
