Howard Marsh
Welcome
Purchased in 2008, Howard Marsh Metropark opened in 2018 after the largest restoration project in Metroparks Toledo history.
Kayaking, birding, fishing and hunting are among the outdoor recreation opportunities offered by the marsh.
More than six miles of hiking trails and six miles of navigable water provide limitless visitor experiences. Enjoy a quarter-mile boardwalk and two observation platforms where you may spot eagles, waterfowl, shorebirds and warblers. Take a walk and watch for turtles, frogs and other wildlife that call the wetland home.
