1. Grace Episcopal Church and Graveyard Marker
Inscription. Founded in 1702, Grace Church erected its first building on this site in 1734. The present structure, designed by Dudley Field in the Victorian Gothic style, was completed in 1862. Some of the tombstones in the surrounding churchyard date back to the 18th century. Among the notables buried here is Rufus King who represented New York in the first United States Senate and later served as Minister to England. His home is preserved in nearby King Park.
 
Erected 1972 by New York Community Trust.
