Inscription.
A perennial, aromatic herb from the mint family (Lamiaceae) characterized by its square stems, oval leaves, and its clustered, white to purple leaves.

Outstanding Oregano
Oregano has tantalized the taste buds of Italian, Greek, and Mexican chefs alike. The herbaceous flavor adds a traditional freshness to pizzas, pastas, and roasted vegetables.

Oregano to the Rescue
Widely used by the ancient Greeks and Chinese, oregano once served as an herbal remedy for treating sore muscles, irritated skin, and upset stomachs.
