1. Straus Park Marker
Inscription. This park is named in honor of Isidor and Ida Straus who lost their lives on the Titanic when it hit an iceberg and sank on April 15, 1912. Isidor Straus (1854-1912) is remembered for helping to develop R.H. Macy & Co. into the world's largest department store.
