Inscription. This historic 1910 carousel was donated to the Virginia Discovery Museum in 2006 by Fred W. Scott, Jr. Special thanks to Mr. Scott for his generosity in providing the gift that initiated the 2022 carousel restoration and to The Perry Foundation for awarding the Virginia Discovery Museum Museum a matching grant in support of this project.
