1. Wells - Myers Home Marker

Inscription. Believed to have been built by Lewis Wells, a descendant of one of the founding fathers of Augusta, this home was owned by Thomas Myers during the Civil War who also owned the Myers in downtown Augusta. During the Battle of Augusta, this house and the adjacent property were used as a field hospital.
